Jute is a 100% recyclable material that decomposes back into nature. The jute in our products comes from India, where its cultivation provides a livelihood for millions of farmers. The growing and production processes of jute are very environmentally friendly. Jute heals the soil and produces oxygen. Jute cultivation does not waste fresh water, but uses tropical rains, so jute leaves a small water footprint. It stores carbon, so it also has a small carbon footprint.
